Chats with Kent is hosted by Kent C. Dodds where he interviews a wide range of guests with topics ranging from Growing Your Skills And Career Through Teaching With Ali Spittel to Make Your Apps Resilient Using Finite State Machines With David Khourshid.
3. CodePen Radio
CodePen Radio has a long list of episodes on “All about what it’s like running a small web software business. The good, the bad, and the ugly” that are not just focused around CodePen and running a business, but other aspects of web development.
The cast is always changing, but one of the notable hosts include Chris Coyier the co-founder of CodePen, and CSS Tricks.
4. Compressed
Compressed is a weekly podcast about web design, and development from James Q Quick, and Amy Dutton. Learn everything from starting a web development project, to freelancing advice.
5. Frontend Greatness
Frontend Greatness is “a podcast that helps frontend developers go from good to great” with many great guests and topics from user experience to web typography hosted by Ari Koponen.
6. Full Stack Radio
Full Stack Radio is hosted by Adam Wathan who is the creator of the popular Tailwind CSS framework.
The show focuses on interesting topics such as Lessons Learned Building Tailwind UI, and interviews such as Rich Harris - Svelte and Defending the Modern Web.
7. Future of Coding
Future of Coding is a podcast hosted by Ivan Reese that “features interviews with toolmakers, researchers, computational artists, educators, and engineers, all with compelling viewpoints on what the future of computing could be”.
One of the episodes I enjoyed was How ReactJS was created - with Pete Hunt.
8. HTML All The Things
HTML All The Things are “the adventures of Matt Lawrence and Mike Karan through the world of web development, web design, and small business management.”
9. JAMstack Radio
JAMstack Radio is a show all about the JAMstack, a new way to build fast, and secure apps or websites hosted by Brian Douglas.
10. JS Party
JS Party is a weekly celebration of JavaScript, and the web. It has a changing cast of co-hosts including Jerod Santo, Emma Bostian, Feross Aboukhadijeh, Kevin Ball, Nick Nisi, Divya Tagtachian, Mikeal Rogers, Christopher Hiller, and Amal Hussein.
11. Ladybug Podcast
Ladybug Podcast stands out having a cast of smart, and witty ladies with diverse areas of expertise, and opinions. The cast includes Ali Spittel, Emma Bostian, Kelly Vaughn, and Sidney Buckner.
12. Modern Web
Modern Web is “a podcast that explores next generation frameworks, standards, and techniques” started by Tracy Lee.
13. React Podcast
React Podcast is hosted by Michael Chan, but despite the name it’s more than just React. The interviews are always interesting, and worth listening to such as Maggie Appleton on the Power of Mental Models where they discuss the artwork behind her visual explanations of technology, anthropology, and programming.
14. Remotely Interesting
Remotely Interesting is a podcast from the team at Netlify including personalities such as Sarah Drasner and Jason Lengstorf, but also Cassidy Williams, Phil Hawksworth, Divya Tagtachian, and Tara Z. Manicsic in which they dive into the Jamstack, and other web development topics, including recipes.
15. ShopTalk
ShopTalk is hosted by Chris Coyier, and Dave Rupert. It covers a wide range of topics from WordPress, JavaScript, to CSS.
16. Syntax
Syntax might be the most popular web development podcast featuring seasoned developers Wes Bos, and Scott Tolinski having the most educational while being entertaining podcast.
You won’t just learn about web development, soft skills, and BBQ tips, but also How Would We Script a PS5 Buying Bot? among other things.
17. The Changelog
The Changelog is a great podcast with “conversations with the hackers, leaders, and innovators of the software world” hosted by Adam Stacoviak and Jerod Santo.
18. The CSS Podcast
The CSS Podcast features Adam Argyle, and Una Kravets who are incredible at explaining visual concepts in audio form. You’re going to learn a lot, from the fundamentals of CSS to experimental features such as CSS Houdini.
19. The Undefined Podcast
The Undefined Podcast is a podcast hosted by Jared Palmer, and Ken Wheeler that’s unapologetic about it’s language, and features a wide variety of guests such as Vue vs. Svelte with Evan You and Rich Harris.
20. Toolsday
Toolsday is “a show about the latest in tech tools, tips, and tricks” hosted by Una Kravets and Chris Dhanaraj.
